Sing Me Your Song Again Daddy. A Father's day tribute

A Father would do anything and everything just to see her little daughter smile! So as God to His little lambs. Heavenly Father, our Father! I thank you for everything! Your love for us is immeasurable! You never forget to stoop and to reach out to those little hearts and fill their hearts with your sweet comforting love. Indeed, your love alone suffices!

"'you're amazing Just the way you are" :)

Papa, your little queen is all grown up now. The "time has come for me to leave your side", but, no...I'll be forever yours, forever in your arms and your songs alone my dear Papa are the music that my heart has been playing and will be forever playing. You have prepared the road for me and I am about to walk on it, proud to say, with gladness, with cheer and with confidence for I know you will never leave me.

"I feel within me the vocation of being a priest, an apostle, a doctor, a martyr… inspite of my littleness to enlighten the soul as the prophets and the Doctors have done" (Manuscript B, 2–3)~St. Therese

"I have called you and you are mine!"

"I am standing at the threshold
Of a chapter in my life
I am asking for your blessing
As I’m about to be the wife
Of a man I know who loves me
And I’m proud to be his bride.
Dad the time has come for me to leave your side."

My beloved, I am coming!

There is nothing more noble and more precious than to consecrate ones life totally to God! Your love, my Jesus, has grown within me "so much that it has become an abyss of which I am unable to fathom the depth!"

"Love includes all other vocations… then in an excess of overflowing joy, I exclaimed 'Jesus, my love, I have finally found my vocation… in the heart of the Church, my Mother, I shall be LOVE'" ~St. Therese

Happy Father's Day!

Sing Me Your Song Again Daddy – Jose Marie Chan

Sing me a song again, Daddy
Sing me a happy verse.
Teach me those clever lines you sang
As you carried me on your shoulders.
Sing me that hymn that you so loudly
Sang in church with mom.
Sing it again to me and fill me
With all your words of wisdom.
Comforting words of love when I
Would get home from school in tears.
Somehow your songs have stayed within me
Down through all the years.
Once when my younger heart was broken
Your shoulder was there to cry on.
Sing me those songs I know will linger
Long after you have gone.
I am standing at the threshold
Of a chapter in my life
I am asking for your blessing
As I’m about to be the wife
Of a man I know who loves me
And I’m proud to be his bride.
Dad the time has come for me to leave your side.
So, sing me a song again, Daddy.
Sing me a lullaby.
Wrap me inside your arms, Daddy,
‘Though this is not goodbye.
Your songs will live forever
In my heart. When times get rough
The ones I’ll most remember
Are your songs of love.
JOSE:
Your songs will live forever
In my heart. When times get rough
CHERI:
The ones I’ll most remember
Are your songs of love.
